Following the conclusion of the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) Super Delegates Conference, Alan Kyerematen, one of the Presidential aspirants, conveyed his appreciation towards the delegates who supported his candidacy. Although securing the third position in the election, he garnered 95 votes, representing 10.29 percent of the total votes.
In a statement released on Monday, he however expressed "deep sorrow about the brutal assault on my polling agent in the North East region. This is an indelible blot to the integrity of the internal democratic process within the NPP” and assured the agent’s family of his “unwavering support for his wellbeing”
Meanwhile, “in the course of his week,” he will “deliver a public broadcast on the way forward for my campaign".
