A Young Woman Has Allegedly Been Murdered By Her House Help

It has been reported that a young businesswoman identified as Afua Ahenkan has allegedly been murdered by her male housekeeper. The sad incident occurred at Ampeyoo and Ampabame in Kumasi, the Ashanti Region. Afua Ahenkan, also called Princess Afua, was stabbed a couple of times by a housekeeper she had hired in less than a month.

Princess Afua, whose husband is said to be in the United Kingdom, had employed the housekeeper to lend a helping hand in her business; little did she know that would lead to her untimely demise.

According to reports, the victim was on a phone call when she was attacked by the suspect. Though she cried and screamed for rescue, there was none. The suspect, after stabbing her, dragged her body into the garage and eloped with her car, money, and some other items. The lifeless body was found in the garage of her house at Apaaso on Tuesday, September 12, which was a day after she was murdered.

This instigated the immediate visit of the Ashanti Regional Command police investigators to the crime scene. A search was instantly initiated to find the suspect as they deposited the body of the deceased at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital morgue.

According to reports, the suspect has currently been arrested after he eloped to his hideout in Accra.
