As the celebration of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah's birthday approaches, Member of Parliament Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah is calling on Ghanaians to celebrate the former president more frequently, not just on his birthday.
Buah expressed concern over the deteriorating state of Dr. Nkrumah's Museum at Nkroful, his birthplace and first burial site. To address this issue, Buah donated GHC10,000 to the Planning Committee for Nkrumah's birthday celebrations. He emphasized the need for constant maintenance of the museum and expressed his commitment to making Nkroful the center for celebrating Dr. Nkrumah's birthday.
Nana Sanzah Erzah, a member of the celebration committee, commended Buah for his leadership in preserving Dr. Nkrumah's legacy.
The Nkroful Museum holds significant historical value as it tells the story of Dr. Nkrumah's birth and burial, but it has been neglected in recent years.
