James Akwasi Appiah Becomes The New Head Coach For Sudan National Team

According to Joy Sports, the senior national men's football team of Sudan will now be coached by James Akwasi Appiah, a former coach of the Ghana team. 

Appiah, who is now 63 years old, will hold this position for the next three years. He has a well-established reputation in Sudan, where he is known for discovering new talents and developing them into core players of the national team. 

Prior to this appointment, Appiah was primarily responsible for setting up an interim management committee for Asante Kotoko. He was last involved in major coaching as the head coach of the Ghana national team, serving two terms between 2017 and 2020. 

For the past three years, he has been serving in a sporting director role for the Kenpong Football Academy.
