Ghanaian artist MzVee, known for her Afro-pop and dancehall music, has opened up about the inspiration behind her latest track, "Destiny." During an interview on Tv3 New Day on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, MzVee shared her personal journey towards self-determination and emphasized her commitment to taking control of her own life.
MzVee expressed that she refuses to allow anyone to dictate the direction of her life, stating, "I'm taking control of my life, and I am the one in charge of it. Nobody else can move my life in any other way. Just me, just God." She highlighted the importance of this message in her new song.
The talented artist also revealed that she has been receiving positive feedback about the song, with numerous people and public figures expressing their appreciation for its inspiring message. She mentioned Kafui Dey as one of the first individuals to give her positive feedback, sharing that she has received calls and comments acknowledging the strong and impactful message of the song.
Furthermore, MzVee announced a dance challenge for "Destiny." She mentioned that the winner of the challenge will receive a cash prize, various products, and a unique opportunity to dance alongside her. The selected dance routine will also become the official dance associated with the song.
