In a powerful speech, Dr. Ankrah raises concerns about the prudence of giving a government that has given up control of the country's monetary and fiscal matters to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) another term. He criticizes the performance of the two main political parties, the NDC and the NPP, pointing out that they are unable to successfully manage Ghana's economy since they depend on IMF support.
Dr. Ankrah underscores the necessity for a shift towards an independent-oriented leader like himself, someone with the requisite economic acumen to initiate a transformation for the betterment of Ghana. He challenges the offerings of the traditional parties, querying their motives for seeking continued leadership and expressing doubts about their capacity to manage the economy autonomously.
Expressing surprise at the continued support for the NDC and NPP despite their historical performance, Dr. Ankrah questions whether Ghanaians have grown disenchanted or perhaps lack the discernment required for effective governance.
