The 67th National Independence Day Celebration is set to be commemorated at the newly constructed Youth Resource Centre in Koforidua, the Eastern regional capital, on Wednesday, March 6.
Themed "Our Democracy, Our Pride", the event was formally inaugurated in Koforidua and featured the unveiling of the anniversary logo.

The celebration will witness the presence of notable guests, with President Alassane Ouattara of Cote d'Ivoire serving as the esteemed Guest of Honour, with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo presiding over the festivities. The event will showcase 21 contingents from various security services, 11 schools from the Eastern Region, and assorted cultural groups.
