Despite facing riot control police, the road outside the 37 Military Hospital in Accra remains crowded with unwavering protestors who are determined to bring about change in the country. Over the past few hours of today, their calls for change have grown even louder.
Although their attempt to march all the way to the Jubilee House, the seat of government, was foiled by the police, their enthusiasm has not been altered. The protestors have been chanting various songs, including the national anthem, and allowing different individuals to voice their grievances.
Amidst the heavy downpour around 2:40pm, the protesters were in the rain to intensify their thirst for a better Ghana While a few people sought shelter elsewhere, the majority of the protestors refused to let the opportunity go to waste. They danced in the rain, continued chanting songs, and remained near the barricades, showing no signs of leaving anytime soon.

Following today's session, the police released a statement clarifying that they had engaged with the leaders of the Democracy Hub, the organizers of the protest, to address the concerns raised. The police emphasized that there was no evidence or reported cases of assault against the demonstrators based on their records.
