Ghanaian footballer Osman Bukari made his mark in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday as he scored during Red Star's match against Manchester City.
Despite Bukari's goal, Manchester City ultimately won the Group G encounter with a score of 3-1. Initially, Bukari's goal was disallowed for offside, but after a VAR review, it was determined that he had been played onside by Ruben Dias.
However, Red Star Belgrade couldn't handle Manchester City's strong performance in the second half, conceding an equalizer just two minutes after the restart and ultimately losing the match.
In response to the loss, Bukari expressed his disappointment but also thanked the home fans for their support, promising that the team would come back stronger.
In another Group G game, RB Leipzig emerged victorious with a 3-1 away win against Young Boys.
