Amadu emphasized that homes are not just physical structures, but essential havens that offer shelter, solace, and security. He articulated his eagerness to take on the task, stating, "I urge the government to sell the Saglemi housing project to me, so we can transform these unfinished houses into comfortable homes for our fellow Ghanaians."

Stirred by an emotional connection to the current state of the Saglemi Housing Project, Amadu expressed how deeply affected he is each time he encounters the incomplete buildings. His empathy was palpable as he conveyed, "Each time I see the unfinished houses, my heart aches."

Furthermore, the urgency for quality housing solutions, particularly following displacements due to the Akosombo Dam spillage-induced flooding, has compelled him to pursue this endeavor. He sees an opportunity to breathe life back into the Saglemi housing project, envisioning the provision of affordable and high-quality homes for Ghanaians.

In the midst of this revival proposal, the cloud of the project's contentious history looms large. The contractor, Andrew Clocanas, along with other key figures, is facing trial for alleged financial misconduct related to the Saglemi Affordable Housing Project. The accused individuals have pleaded not guilty and have been granted bail, marking a complex backdrop to the potential revival of this housing initiative.
