Mahama Donates Hospital Equipment And Essentials To Shai Osudoku Hospital To Mark 65th Birthday

Former President John Dramani Mahama, in celebration of his 65th birthday, exhibited an act of generosity by donating a significant array of items to the staff and patients of the Shai Osudoku District Hospital at Dodowa in the Greater Accra Region. The donation encompassed hospital equipment, food items, detergents, and school bags, elaborating his commitment to giving back to the community.

Donation Contents

The donation comprised a meaningful assortment of items, including hospital equipment such as two incubators, two phototherapy machines, and four pieces of C-PAP machines. Additionally, it encompassed various essential supplies, such as 200 packs of water, 20 boxes of tinned tomatoes, 35 boxes of cooking oil, 30 boxes of canned mackerel, 100 packs of baby diapers, 200 packs of assorted drinks, 90 pieces of schoolbags, 40 boxes of biscuits, 24 gallons of bleach, 74 gallons of liquid soap, 150 bags of rice, 50 sacks of sugar, and 500 packs of hot meals.

President Mahama, accompanied by his wife, Lordina Mahama, and children, as well as other prominent figures, also partook in a meaningful gesture by cutting his 65th birthday cake alongside the hospital staff, highlighting the spirit of togetherness and celebration.

In a show of recognition, Former President Mahama commended the Director of the Hospital, Dr. Kennedy Brightson, and the medical and staff members for their commendable efforts in maintaining a safe environment, notably in curbing maternal deaths over the past five years.
