Background

The decision to withhold and subsequently address the results of candidates stems from cases of mass cheating during the examination. WAEC had previously canceled the Subject Results of 312 school candidates and 3 private candidates due to reported cases of using foreign materials such as prepared notes and textbooks during the examination. This action followed investigations into irregularities detected during the examination and the subsequent marking of scripts.
