The President emphasized that his belief in the NPP being the natural political home for the people of the Volta Region is not solely based on ideological reasons but also on historical ones. He commended the Queenmother of Mepe, Mamaga Adzo Srako IV, for defending his comments during a visit to the flood-affected area in Mepe. President Akufo-Addo expressed his hope to witness the resurgence of the NPP's popularity in the Volta Region during his lifetime.

As part of his strategy to garner support, the President praised the infrastructural developments brought to the region by his government. He mentioned the ongoing construction of the Agenda 111 hospital in Agordzoe, which he intends to commission before leaving office. Additionally, President Akufo-Addo highlighted the importance of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) structures that provide skill training for the community's youth.
